This cool chick that you see in the picture is me. Ebba.
I’m not as young as I was there and my adult teeth are now fully formed. Not as straight as I would have liked, but it ‘ads character’ and all that. I can still rock a hat like no one else, I tell ya.
I grew up in Sweden, grew up a bit more in Australia, and now I’m continuing to grow up in the UK.
So why did I create this website? Definitely not to show off how photogenic I was a kid.
I read somewhere that if you want to start a blog, you should think of how your friends and family would introduce you to new people. It’s embarrassing, but I know exactly what they would say.
This is Ebba. She loves money and sharks
It’s true. Money is a topic that fascinates me like few other topics do.
I love to hear about people’s relationship with money. It doesn’t matter if they have a lot of it or a little of it. If they are high-rolling on jets or struggling to pay their gas bill. I like to hear how they manage it, how they align it with their values and what problems they’ve come across.
A problem I have to face every day is generalized anxiety disorder and depression. I’ve had to learn how to handle it in order not to sabotage myself financially. Over the last 10 years, I have developed methods and behaviours to ensure that I make progress on my goals, despite my obstacles. I plan to share these skills and methods on this website.
The shark part is simply because I used to have a phobia of sharks. Even a picture of a shark would paralyze me with fear. It took years of exposure therapy, watching documentaries and reading books about them to get over it.
I have nothing but love and admiration for the beautiful sea creatures now. It’s funny how things turn out, isn’t it? Knowledge really changes everything.
If you also love sharks, and/or the ocean, and you want to help support, you can check out my completely unrelated shop where I sell designs in support of various charities such as Oceana.org:
